For centuries, cultures around the world have relied on traditional herbal medicine to meet their healthcare needs. Despite medical and technological advancements of the modern era, the global demand for herbal remedies is on the rise. It involves the medicinal use of plants to treat disease and enhance general health and wellbeing. Herbal medicines contain active ingredients.
In this globalised and technological world where people are being so obsessed with the Alopathy, causing lot of side effects, health issues and mental trauma. Keeping this in view, we introduced the age old practice of herbal medicine in all our Social Service Centers namely, Arilova, Malkapuram, Rajam, Madugula, Kapileswarapuram, Navajara and Yerukonda.
· Sessions are given on various herbal plants, herbal medicines and its advantage to the women.
· Women are trained in preparing different medicines using different herbal plants some of which are iron tonic, medicines for gynecological problems, cold, cough, fever, piles, memory power, and capsules for malaria, pain oil, and hair oil etc.
· Women are motivated through different trainings and exhibitions of herbal plants.
· Medicinal plants are distributed prepared to Self Help Group women,
· Women are encouraged to prepare herbal garden.
· Periodically trainings on herbal medicine preparation are given to enhance the quality and usage of herbal medicine.
· Herbal tonics are given to women to increase immunity specially to fight COVID 19.

· For women it is very accessible and reachable within their vicinity to collect the herbal plants and prepare some of the medicines for themselves.
· Women related problems are solved and treated.
· Women become the change agents in introducing to others to adapt these methods.
· Medicines are available at affordable rates, many show interest in it.
· No side effects: it prevent illness and promotes health.
· Many patients who had been suffering with repeated malaria attacks got cured completely through the use of herbal medicine prepared in our centres.
· The malaria capsules are best used as preventive measures and we used it for many of our sisters who work in Africa and it has shown best results.
· For all minor ailments women now take herbal medicines and it is economical.
